Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Overland Park, KS

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), three shifts weekly
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call; holiday coverage as required

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• 2+ years recent telemetry experience in a hospital (within last 18 months)
• Comfortable with a 5:1 patient ratio and a high-touch patient care environment
• Experienced in general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, and management of cellulitis, back pain, kidney stones
• Proficient in Heparin drips, TPN, PCA, and telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Active KS or Compact RN license
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
• Previous experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Not open to new graduates

• Deliver comprehensive medical-surgical care to patients requiring increased physical assistance
• Accurately interpret telemetry rhythms and administer related therapies
• Float between acute care units as needed
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to ensure optimal outcomes
