Job Description Use technical knowledge of Silvaco product offerings and expertise in the common product creation workflow to advise customers in their simulation efforts and address technical obstacles. Work closely with key customers to understand technical roadmaps and recommend the best matching solutions. Provide training and instructions to reduce friction in adopting Silvaco tools, troubleshoot problems, and propose additional features based on customer requirements. Collaborate with sales to improve proposals, document evaluation plans, and articulate technical value propositions. Capture and isolate potential technical issues in Silvaco tools and suggest workarounds or alternate approaches. Understand customer workflow and represent user-defined needs and feedback into business units. Optimize customers’ experience with Silvaco tools by promoting configuration improvements and incorporating new features. Assist with installation and validation of Silvaco products as needed. Make technical presentations for products, use cases, and support status updates. Generate ideas for configuration and workflow improvements based on customer obstacles. Document evaluation plans and customer support cases in Salesforce CRM. Keep up with advancements in key applications and workflow implementation. Qualifications Masters Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Solid State Physics, or related field. More than 8 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, or IC design processes. Demonstrated experience with design, modeling, or simulation tools in industry. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Intellectually inquisitive with creative problem-solving skills. Persistence in tracking complex problems with minimal oversight. Ability to prioritize activities and deliver on time and within budget. Application-specific experience in Memory Technology (NAND, DRAM), CMOS Technology (device operation and process), Mechanical Stress Physics, and related areas. Tool category experience with Commercial TCAD Tools (Process, Device, RCx), Classical and ML-Driven Statistical tools, FEA/FEM Multiphysics tools. High interest in evolving AI use in semiconductor workflows. Compensation & Benefits US base salary range for this full-time position is $145,000 to $170,000. Salary is based on role, level, location, experience, and education. Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, commissions, or other forms.
