Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a GI Lab Registered Nurse, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery.
- Assist with major GI and pulmonary interventional procedures, such as colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopy, ERCP, ERCP with stent, EBUS, and related interventions.
- Support feeding tube placement, Bravo pH testing, capsule endoscopy, variceal banding, and other GI/Pulmonary lab tasks as scheduled.
- Monitor patient status during procedures, administer medications per protocol, manage IV access, and ensure safe sedation support in collaboration with the procedural team.
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with equipment readiness and room turnover, document procedures and post-procedure findings accurately.
- Collaborate closely with gastroenterology and pulmonary teams, communicate changes in patient condition, and assist with discharge planning and safety education.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (Georgia) or current state licensure with eligibility for GA; GA licensure preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent GI Lab or interventional nursing experience
- Ability to work a weekday day shift pattern with on-call weekends; comfortable in a fast-paced, invasive procedure setting
- Competence in pre/post-procedure patient care, patient monitoring, sterile technique, and accurate documentation
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and comply with assignment-specific scheduling needs
