Position Details

The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in delivering preventive and therapeutic oral healthcare while creating a positive experience for every patient. This is a full-time position, in a fast-paced, supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive treatments
• Conduct patient assessments, take and interpret dental radiographs, and record accurate charting
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, and preventative care
• Assist the dentist in identifying and diagnosing dental and periodontal conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe operatory in compliance with infection control standards
• Build rapport with patients and contribute to a welcoming, professional office environment
• Collaborate effectively with dentists, assistants, and front office team members to support seamless patient flow

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, positive attitude with a team-first mindset
• Ability to provide gentle, patient-centered care
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
