Purpose:
The purpose of your job is to provide direct and indirect resident care, especially activities of daily living as described, but not limited to personal care, comfort, maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Certified by the State of California for Long-Term Care facilities as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) active at time of hire.
• Current CPR certification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to resident’s individual care plan
• Take and record vital signs, weights and Input and Output accurately
• Communicate regularly during shift to Licensed Nurse regarding the medical, psycho-social and spiritual status of each resident in assigned group
• Report changes of condition to Licensed Nurse immediately upon observation.
