Purpose:
The purpose of your job is to provide direct and indirect resident care, especially activities of daily living as described, but not limited to personal care, comfort, maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Certified by the State of California for Long-Term Care facilities as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) active at time of hire.
Current CPR certification.

Job Functions:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to resident’s individual care plan
Take and record vital signs, weights and Input and Output accurately
Communicate regularly during shift to Licensed Nurse regarding the medical, psycho-social and spiritual status of each resident in assigned group
Report changes of condition to Licensed Nurse immediately upon observation.
