What you'll do as th e Managed Care Contracting Manager:

• Manage the execution, and administration of managed care agreements for Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (St. Petersburg and Wesley Chapel), Johns Hopkins All Children's Urgent Care, Pediatric Physicians Services Inc., and West Coast Neonatalogy Inc.
• Understand contract language, identify key provisions, and manage negotiations effectively and independently 
• Support contract negotiations with our major payers and be responsible for negotiation of managed care agreements with major and minor third party payers
• Analyze contract performance and collaborate with stakeholders to support the financial and operational goals of the organization
• Be responsible for addressing contract-related queries, from internal and external stakeholders, and facilitate process improvements
• Manage contractual disputes that arise with third party payers under managed care agreement terms
• Be responsible for carrying out obligations under managed care agreements such as charge master notices, requests for fee schedules and other obligations as applicable

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of experience in managed care contracting or a related field 
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. 
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
  • Master's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
• Experience and/or knowledge of the Florida Medicaid system is very helpful!

Salary Range: Minimum $37.60/hour - Maximum $62.08/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
