Occupational Therapy Assistant

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy services to patients in home care settings, supporting their physical recovery and functional abilities. Key Responsibilities: Follow state laws and the supervising OT’s treatment plan Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based therapy within scope Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy Adapt to various home environments, respecting diverse patient backgrounds Qualifications & Skills: Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure and certification Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation Good communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently This role offers competitive pay, including visit-based and hourly compensation, along with benefits like health coverage, recognition programs, and retirement options.
