Mobility Specialist

Overview Mobility Specialist position within the therapy team at St. Raphael-Sisters of Mary of the Presentation Long-Term Care, Valley City, ND. Location: St. Raphael - Valley City, ND 58072. Employment type: Full-time. Responsibilities Lead low intensity progressive exercises under the direction of a physical therapist for older adult patients. Schedule and record patient participation. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: High school diploma and post-secondary coursework in biological sciences, medical terminology, communication and conflict resolution, basic life support, first aid, or similar required. Current CPR certification required. 0-2 years related experience with exercise, activity, and/or older adults preferred. Must be able to work independently, take initiative, and be dependable. A passion for the value of exercise and activity in improving health, function, and quality of life is needed to be successful. Preferred qualifications: Certification as a certified nursing assistant, personal trainer, exercise coach, or similar recommended.
