Immigration Attorney (Associate / Senior Associate) Location: New York, NY (Downtown Manhattan) Work Type: Hybrid (50% On-site / 50% Remote) Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join a fast-paced, high-volume immigration practice in New York City. This role focuses primarily on family-based immigration matters while also providing opportunities to handle removal-defense cases and represent clients in immigration court .The attorney will independently manage a high-volume caseload from initial intake through final resolution, working closely with a dedicated paralegal to ensure timely filings, effective client communication, and compliance with immigration deadlines Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume immigration caseload from intake through case completion Handle family-based immigration matters, including I-130 petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, and related filings Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates, documents, deadlines, and legal strategy Work closely with a dedicated paralegal on forms, filings, client communication, and case preparation Review and prepare immigration applications, petitions, motions, and supporting documents Represent clients in immigration court when required Handle removal-defense matters, including master calendar hearings, individual hearings, waivers, asylum, cancellation of removal, and motions to reopen, when applicable Coordinate filings and appearances involving USCIS, EOIR, ICE, and the BIA Ensure all matters are handled accurately and within required deadlines Requirements Minimum 3–4 years of immigration law experience preferred Strong family-based immigration experience Experience independently managing a high-volume caseload Strong client communication and case-management skills Immigration court or removal-defense experience is highly preferred Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state Ability to work in downtown Manhattan on a rotating hybrid schedule Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented firm Preferred Experience EOIR court appearances Master calendar and individual hearings Asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, and motions to reopen BIA appeals Spanish or another language is a plus, but not required Hybrid Schedule The attorney will work in the office approximately 50% of the time: Three days in the office one week Two days in the office the following week The schedule continues on a rotating basis #J-18808-Ljbffr
