Job SummaryCoordinate and process inventory in accordance with AMS and its clients set processes, operating procedures, and policies. Report any inventory issues. Responsible for Receiving all parcel and supply shipments. Counting, sorting, and weighing all inbound shipments, and verifying the receipt of the same in accordance with the policies and procedures of AMS and its clients.Essential Job FunctionsWork closely with Supervisor or Inventory ManagerFollow systematic inventory levelsMaintain accurate inventory control or count proceduresTransferring product from one location to anotherAssist other departments when help is neededMaintain clear and effective communication on all inventory issuesPerforms inventory movesPerforms and understanding of cycle countsPerforms and control physical inventories (able to provide directions and answers to count teams)Performs inventory adjustments in the system, and should be able to explain why adjustments are necessaryExports proper inventory report files from InOrder into an excel formatVerify and inspect incoming parcel and suppliesData entry of receipts, adjustments, and transfersAccurate filing of documentsCommunicate with truck driversCommunicate with Client ServicesProperly dispersing shipments to correct recipientsAccording to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), employees must be able to perform the “essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.Nonessential FunctionsNon-essential functions are not essential as defined above · non-essential functions are the additional duties · Function is incidental or a minimal part of the job · Marginal functions can be redistributed among other staff.Job Specifications – includes Education, physical and mental demands, and working conditionsMinimum one to two years inventory control or related experienceExcellent problem-solving skills.Bilingual preferred, but not required.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be computer literate.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Forklift experience.InOrder system knowledge is preferred.Extreme attention to detail.Working ConditionsThis job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes.
