Nurse Practitioner Palliative Care

Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care nurse practitioner to join its multidisciplinary inpatient team in Burbank, California. This role focuses on the care of medically complex patients, providing expert symptom management, consultation, and follow-up in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ideal candidates will be highly adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working with diverse patient populations.

Position Highlights

• Part-time schedule with 8-hour shifts
  
• 1 weekday per week and 2 weekends per month (flexible scheduling; Thursdays preferred)
  
• Inpatient role focused on complex patient care and symptom management
  
• Responsibilities include consult triage, follow-up visits, and daily rounding
  
• Work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team including physicians, RN staff, and social workers
  
• No direct call requirement; physician team provides supervision and support
  
• Fast-paced, high-acuity environment with meaningful patient impact
  
• Compensation is between $68 and $80 per hour
  
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
