Housekeeping Supervisor - Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club Lake Blackshear Resort / Georgia Veterans State Park , located in Cordele, Georgia, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager/Rooms Manager. The resort features 24 villa rooms, 10 lake cabins, and 82 campsites on 8,800 acres of Lake Blackshear, with amenities including a restaurant, bar, fitness center, conference center, marina, lake restaurant, an 18‑hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, fishing, and more. The resort is managed by Coral Hospitality. Responsibilities Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks Oversee staff on a daily basis Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job Monitor and replenish cleaning product stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves Participate in large cleaning projects as required Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas Requirements Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role Hands‑on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products Excellent organizational and team management skills Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job Lake Blackshear Resort is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
