OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and friendly Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Dekalb, IL. If you have a knack for fixing things and enjoy helping people, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Our ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also possesses excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of household appliances, ensuring our customers' homes run smoothly.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances including refrigerators, ovens, washers, and dryers.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their appliance issues and repair options.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to ensure optimal performance.Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.Work independently and manage your schedule effectively to meet customer needs.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training in appliance repair is a plus.Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical ability to lift heavy appliances and perform manual tasks.EPA Type 1You should be proficient in:Mechanical Troubleshooting SkillsEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) CertificationServiceMaintenance and Repair SkillsEquipment Diagnostics & TroubleshootingMechanical Systems & Component RepairEquipment Installation & WiringEquipment Repair & Maintenance #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
