We require that candidates be 18 years of age or older and possess positive characteristics. We are looking for healthy individuals who care about their hygiene and appearance. We seek responsible individuals who respect themselves, others, animals, and property. Our employees must be flexible, take direction, and maintain a joyful spirit. Attention to detail is a must. Ideally, our employees can see what needs to be done without being asked. Our team members need to have positive attitudes and strong work ethics. Everyone is expected to be willing and happy to lend a helping hand when needed. It is key that our employees can be satisfied in a remote area with a limited cell phone connection. If this is a concern, please discuss it during the interview process. High-speed Internet is available to all staff. EMPLOYEE PERKS A general camp bonus fund grows during the season and is divided among the staff at the end of the season. FREE accommodations for staff are provided with community kitchens and laundry. GETTING HERE & AROUND You are expected to arrive in Jackson Hole independently. Having reliable transportation is essential for your success at Turpin. While Jackson Hole has an airport, it is highly recommended that you have dependable transportation to explore the nearby parks and access town on your own. The ranch does not offer regular employee shuttles. Navigation systems and GPS units may provide inaccurate information. Print and prepare your driving directions in advance; if you have any questions about closed roads, please call us before you begin your journey to the ranch. Cell phone reception is limited in nearby areas and throughout Wyoming. FOR FUN If you are an outdoor enthusiast, Turpin Meadow Ranch is the place for you! With stunning views of the Tetons out the front door and Wyoming’s second-largest Wilderness Area out your back door, there is never a moment of dullness. Turpin Meadow is 15 miles from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park and 40 miles to the south boundary entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
