POSITION OVERVIEW Amped Fitness is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to support the development and construction of new clubs across our rapidly expanding portfolio. This is a highly hands-on construction role responsible for managing projects from planning and permitting through construction, punch, turnover, and opening. The Ideal Candidate is more than a traditional field Superintendent. Amped Fitness needs a technically strong construction professional who can read and interpret architectural and engineering plans, understand permitting requirements, perform material takeoffs, assist with estimating and cost analysis, identify construction issues, and effectively manage contractors and vendors in the field. This role will require approximately 50% nationwide travel , with the expectation that the Superintendent will regularly visit active construction sites, conduct site walks with architects and engineers, and provide field oversight throughout the construction process. When not traveling, this position will work from Amped Fitness headquarters in Pompano Beach, FL and participate in project meetings, planning, and development activities. Key Responsibilities Construction Management & Field Oversight Oversee construction of new Amped Fitness clubs from pre-construction through final turnover, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Amped Fitness standards. Serve as the primary field representative, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, quality, safety, and compliance with approved plans. Coordinate and manage general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, landlords, and other project partners. Identify and resolve construction conflicts, delays, deficiencies, and unforeseen field conditions while holding contractors accountable to project requirements. Manage inspections, punch lists, closeout, and turnover while coordinating construction timelines with the Development Team and club opening schedules. Review and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and construction drawings for accuracy, coordination, and constructability. Work directly with architects and engineers to address field conditions, design questions, plan revisions, and construction issues. Assist with or independently manage permitting, plan reviews, inspections, and municipal approvals. Support pre-construction planning, project scheduling, site logistics, construction sequencing, and value-engineering opportunities. Assist with construction estimating, budgeting, bid comparisons, contractor proposals, and scope reviews. Perform material quantity takeoffs and review contractor takeoffs and estimates for accuracy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
