Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team in York, PA.

The Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and interested in working in a patient-focused pharmacy environment.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications for long-term care facilities.
• Accurately count, measure, package, and label medications according to prescriptions and established protocols.
• Follow all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records within the pharmacy system.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and long-term care facility staff.
• Assist with medication packaging, order preparation, and delivery processes for LTC patients.
• Support quality assurance, medication safety, and other pharmacy department initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to accuracy.
• Must register with the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS) prior to the start date. HR will assist with the registration process.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
