We are currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern to join our team. This part-time, 1099 position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in both in-person and telehealth outpatient counseling within a supportive and collaborative practice. Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist and Registered Interns to join our team! In this role, provide outpatient counseling services to a diverse client base, primarily focused on individual therapy but also serving families and couples. Sessions will be conducted both in-person and through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Additionally, this role involves fieldwork, requiring the intern to meet clients in community settings such as schools, homes, or other public locations as needed. If you are a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, we offer free supervision hours toward your licensure. Pay $25.00 - $35.00 per hour clinical hours based on experience Expected Hours 10 - 40 per weeks Schedule Position Type: Hybrid (Telehealth & In-Person) This is a hybrid position, meaning you will conduct both telehealth and in-person sessions. Current in-person need: Fridays 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM and Saturdays 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM . These hours are not flexible and are required to meet client needs. Telehealth sessions: Scheduled Monday through Thursday , based on client availability , not staff preference. Telehealth session times can occur anytime between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM , with the last session starting at 7:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM . Applicants must be comfortable maintaining a flexible telehealth schedule while committing to the required in-person hours. Responsibilities Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children in a private practice setting, both in person and via telehealth. Provide mobile mental health services, meeting clients at schools, homes, or other public settings as required. Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation for each client session, utilizing clinical terminology. Collaborate with qualified supervisors and team members to develop effective treatment plans. Engage with clients professionally and respectfully, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive care. Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments. Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field Current and unrestricted LMHC, LMSW, or LMFT OR RMHCI, RCSWI Reliable vehicle & liability insurance required Experience 2-5 years in the mental health field Language Skills Must be fluent in English. Fluent in Spanish as well is preferred but not required. Mobility Ability to travel within the community to meet clients as needed.
