As the Sales Event and Group Rooms Coordinator for Block22 Hotels – The Grove Hotel, Hotel43 and Courtyard By Marriott, you’ll be a key member of the sales team, the central go-to person that ensures a wide range of guests and clients’ needs seamlessly met.

Job Duties:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high volumes of information in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when entering, reviewing, reconciling, and maintaining information across multiple systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, clients, and internal departments.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships while delivering consistent, professional hospitality experience.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and appropriately escalate matters when necessary.
• Proficiency with standard office technology and the ability to quickly learn and effectively navigate multiple software applications, databases, and hotel systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Conference Services, Reservations, Rooms, Accounting, and other hotel departments.
• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support a positive guest and team-member experience.
• Ability to remain flexible, composed, and productive while adapting to changing priorities and operational demands.
• Professional judgment and discretion when handling guests, client, group, financial, and other sensitive information.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

• Prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Must be able to lift 30lbs
• High school diploma, higher education preferred
