Structural Welder- 2nd Shift

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Structural Welder Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Pay Range: $20-$25/hour (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team on a second-shift schedule. This role involves fabricating and welding structural components such as ladders, hail guards, and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG and Flux-core welding experience and be comfortable working in multiple welding positions. Key Responsibilities: * Weld structural components including ladders, hail guards, and platforms * Perform MIG and Flux-core welding in overhead, downhill, and horizontal positions * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings * Accurately measure materials using a tape measure * Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Qualifications: * Proficiency in MIG and Flux-core welding required * Ability to weld in overhead, downhill, and horizontal positions * Basic blueprint reading skills * Strong understanding of measurements and use of a tape measure * Previous structural welding experience preferred * Reliable and able to work assigned shift consistently Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift * Capable of working in a production/shop environment Company Description Whether you want to change careers or find yourself unemployed, Summit Employment can help you land the right job, with the right company.
