Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Handles food and equipment according to corporate, local, state and federal sanitation policies and procedures.
- Is aware of safety regulations and responsibilities in operating all equipment.
- Delivers food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas as instructed by supervisor.
- Prepares and delivers snacks.
- Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures that customer and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals needs and rights.
Qualifications
- Some high school is required.
- Must have knowledge of the methods and techniques of handling and serving food.
- Must have knowledge of sanitation practices relating to food handling.
- Must have the ability to follow diet lists, portion foods as specified, and serve food in an appetizing manner.
