The Line Cook for the PM Shift supports banquet and event service under the supervision of the Executive Chef. This role prepares and executes dishes from a seasonal rotating menu and specialized cuisine menu while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and food safety. The cook will be cross-trained across stations, including grill and sauté operations, to support an efficient and adaptable kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize assigned stations for PM-shift banquet and event service.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and service requirements.
• Execute recipes consistently across a seasonal rotating and specialized cuisine menu.
• Perform grill operations and cook items to required specifications.
• Perform sauté operations while maintaining timing and quality standards.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and follow food safety practices throughout service.
• Work across stations as part of a cross-training structure and follow direction from the Executive Chef.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of line-cooking experience.
• Food preparation and knife skills.
• Experience with grill and sauté cooking.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Strong time-management and teamwork skills.
