Part-Time Armed Security Officer

TriCorps Security is hiring professional and motivated Part-Time Armed Security Officers to join our team.

Applicants must hold valid Florida Class D and Class G Security Licenses and have at least five years of relevant security, military, or law enforcement experience . Candidates must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively in high-responsibility situations.

As a TriCorps officer, you will play an essential role in protecting people, property, and assets while providing courteous assistance and exceptional customer service. Officers in this position help maintain a safe and welcoming environment through vigilance, communication, preparedness, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to properties, ensuring authorized entry and maintaining a secure environment.
• Conduct patrols and inspections to identify potential safety or security concerns.
• Protect employees, visitors, facilities, and other designated assets.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and guests.
• Enforce site-specific rules, regulations, and procedures consistently and respectfully.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and calls for service.
• Document and report all observations, activities, and incidents accurately.
• Collaborate with management and clients to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Valid Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License.
• At least five years of relevant security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Ability to meet all applicable firearm, training, and licensing requirements.
• Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to remain alert and professional throughout the assigned shift.
