DevSecOps Lead

Bowhead seeks a DevSecOps Lead to support the upcoming Cloud Acceleration Services (CAS) Business Enterprise Systems (BES) located in Montgomery, AL. The DevSecOps Lead will design and operation of secure CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Integrate automated security testing.
Support Agile release planning.
Apply IaC and deployment automation.
Help team deliver secure, repeatable, cloud-native software releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
Eight (8+) years software engineering or platform delivery experience; five (5+) years implementing DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, IaC, containers, and Agile software delivery.
Certification: AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert preferred; SAFe DevOps Practitioner/SAFe Agilist preferred; Security+ required/preferred; CKA preferred.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
