Respiratory Therapist Position

Location: HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, Miami, FL

Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU

Unit Specifics:

• Unit staffing description/Department structure: Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/charge therapist per shift, and regular staff
• Type of equipment: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo's, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Floating policy: may provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.

Hiring Profile

Requested Skill Set:

• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: BLS, NRP, PALS
• 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Director prefer to only consider candidates with previous Meditech experience
• Advanced skills needed: Current NICU/PICU experience

Procedures performed on unit:

Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies, medication delivery, etc.
