Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential with an authorization in Special Education (mild/moderate emphasis preferred)
• Experience adapting curriculum and instruction for diverse learners in elementary or middle school settings
• Ability to effectively manage caseloads and build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working across different school sites

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and IEP implementation to students with mild/moderate needs
• Caseloads include:
  • Elementary (40%, two days/week, max 12 students)
  • Elementary (full-time across two sites, max 28 students)
  • Middle School RSP (max 28 students)
  • Middle School SDC (two positions, max 16 students)
• Collaborate with regular education teachers and support staff
• Maintain compliance with special education documentation and timelines
