Senior ALS Lab Manager

Overview Senior Automated Litigation Support Lab Manager – Full‑Time – eDiscovery Responsibilities Lead manager responsible for delivery of lab data processing services. Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks; perform analysis, development, and implementation of processing approaches for electronic files and related services per ESI specifications. Consult with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications; participate in teleconferences with co‑counsel as requested. Notify case attorneys of deficiencies found in incoming productions; keep clients informed of lab activities, deadlines, technical challenges, and resource availability. Provide web‑hosting support for unsupported cases managed by the lab. Manage a team of eDiscovery professionals at a client‑site lab – scheduling, requirements assessment, assignment of work, ensuring deadlines, creating progress reports, and quality control of deliverables. Advise client attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), especially data collection, processing, hosting, review, analytics, and production. Qualifications Extensive Relativity experience required. Relativity certifications (Relativity Certified Administrator – RCA, Relativity Analytics Specialist) strongly preferred. Eight years of eDiscovery experience – electronic file processing, image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, data analysis and review. Five years of supervisory or management experience. Thorough knowledge of litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow. Working knowledge and certifications of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar. Undergraduate degree required (computer science or related field); waiver possible only by Contracting Officer. Desired Qualifications Experience with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office Suite, and LiveNote highly valued.
