Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team. Candidates will care for patients with various diagnoses excluding cardiac surgical cases. Common patient conditions include sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, cardiac arrest, withdrawal, and renal failure. The patient ratios for RNs are 1:1-2 during both day and night shifts. Support within the department includes Certified Nursing Assistants, clinical supervisors, phlebotomy, an IV/VAT team, and a dedicated pharmacist. Collaborative resources are available including a nurse educator and hospitalists. Floating to other facilities in the region may be required based on staffing needs. Travelers will be compensated for travel time between facilities when floating mid-shift. The department is committed to a culture of teamwork and family orientation. Candidates should be proficient in using EMR systems, IV pumps, and monitoring equipment.
