Job Title

Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care nursing to pediatric patients in an intensive care setting with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in pediatric patients' conditions in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in emergency response operations as required, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
• Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
