A leading regional healthcare system in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Fellowship-trained or equivalently experienced BC/BE General Surgeon with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and/or bariatrics (additional MIS training beyond bariatrics/foregut is a plus but not required) to join a collaborative, high-performing surgical team focused on quality care, subspecialty support, and work-life balance.

• Full-time General Surgery role within a well-established elective and trauma surgical program
• Join a multidisciplinary bariatric and metabolic team within an MBSAQIP-accredited center
• Work alongside fellowship-trained bariatric, colorectal, and breast surgeons, plus trauma/acute care specialists
• Mix of elective subspecialty surgery and shared inpatient/trauma call coverage across a 7-surgeon ACS group
• Access to advanced MIS, bariatric, and robotic surgery resources, including a new endoscopy center
• 24/7/365 hospital support including intensivists, hospitalists, advanced GI endoscopy, and interventional radiology
• Strong APP, dietitian, and behavioral health support embedded in bariatric and surgical programs
• Practice in a 417-bed Level II Trauma Center serving a broad multi-state referral region
• Fully staffed OR environment with robotics, first assists, and comprehensive surgical subspecialty backup
