About This Role
The Preschool of the Arts is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team a Teacher in our 2.5-year-old classroom. If you have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing environment for their growth and development, we would love to hear from you.
Position: Teacher
Location: 68 Hartford Turnpike, Tolland
Start Date: August 10th, 2026

What You'll Do- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Provide support in diapering and/or potty training
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for toddlers
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain professionalism while interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Communicate professionally with parents
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met
- Maintain personal professional development plan
- Clean and sanitize classroom as needed
- Genuine love for children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting
- A strong understanding of child development
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
