Senior Accountant

**This is a long-term contract with the potential to be hired permanently in May 2027** Seeking a Sr. Accountant with experience gathering data and support for journal entry preparation, reconcile accounts, document, resolve variances, and can simplify the accounting when communicating with the business. Key Responsibilities: Accounting for payroll, bonuses, and benefits Accounting for prepaid expenses, sales, discounts, and accounts receivable Maintaining general ledger accountability and ensuring accurate month-end close processes Performing consolidations, including intercompany eliminations Preparing financial reporting packages and supporting materials for the parent company Providing support for internal and external audits Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Prior experience in general ledger accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr Velocity Flex
