Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Hybrid – Madison, WI

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Mainframe Development, Production Support, Batch Processing, and Change Management activities within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL and Db2.
Perform production support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Monitor and support batch processing environments and scheduled jobs.
Develop, modify, and maintain JCL scripts for batch execution and data processing.
Work with Control-M for job scheduling, monitoring, and batch workflow management.
Manage application migrations and deployments using Changeman.
Participate in on-call production support activities as required.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Mainframe Development.
Hands-on experience with COBOL programming.
Experience working with Db2 databases, including SQL development and optimization.
Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
Experience supporting and troubleshooting batch processing systems.
Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and monitoring.
Experience using Changeman for source code management and migrations.
Strong production support and incident resolution experience.
