Back-end Software Engineer, Miramar, FL

We are looking for a Back-end Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team and build out the next generation platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable data platforms. We are looking for someone with experience in healthcare business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data products. They must have strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of configuration management and big data technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust, scalable solutions that can manage large data sets. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Communicate software defects to software development teams.
• Improving software and code design.
• Use software development tools to maintain software configuration control.
• Perform testing on new software development projects and legacy software platform products.
• Perform software testing on both existing software and new features.
• Build new software and improve existing software.
• Define the control system software requirements, software specification and software structure.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Build automated software test frameworks for applications.
• Improve software development and test processes.
• Execute functional test scripts for custom-developed software applications.
• Maintain application and system software documentation.
• Perform development of complex software applications.
• Manage embedded software designs projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with ASP.NET/VB.NET.
• Develop software applications using C#, ASP.net.
• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Experience developing in a SaaS environment for the medical field.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries.
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks.
• Knack for writing clean, readable C# code.
