Our client’s Financial Firm based in the Lincoln, NE area is looking to add a key employee to the team. They are seeking a professional, full-time, in-office (seasonal hybrid schedule available), Enrolled Agent / Tax Accountant who is ready to grow and advance their career. They are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented employee with positive energy, who possesses great people skills. Having a “team player” mentality is a must, as our client’s advisors and tax professionals work as an integrated team, providing clients a coordinated approach to retirement income planning and tax strategy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of successful Tax Preparation, Tax Filing, Tax Return Review, Tax Planning, Business Accounting, Financial Reporting as a Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant / EA with State Tax Return and Federal Tax Return experience
• Current Enrolled Agent or CPA Designation
• College Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related field of study
• Accounting Software experience (Example: UltraTax, Intuit Pro-Connect, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Drake, A.T.O.M (Automated Tax Office Manager, etc.)
• Financial Services Software e xperience (Example: Wealthscape, eMoney, Money Guide Pro, Holistiplan, Advisor360, etc.)
• Office Software experience (Example: DocuSign, Google Workplace (G-Suites), Ring Central, MS Suite, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Etc.)
• CRM Software experience (Example: Salesforce, Redtail, Hubly, Zoho, Etc.)
• Video Meeting Application experience (Example: Zoom, Google Meet, Google Meets, etc.)
  

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Putting client needs first and supporting the team process is an important part of our client’s culture and at the core of everything they do. As an Enrolled Agent / Tax Accountant you will:

• Be flexible with both in-office and hybrid work schedules, accommodating business demands
• Prepare, review and approve (400-500) annual 1040, 1120S and 1065 Tax Forms / Filings
• Collaborate with clients and team members on income tax preparation and planning
• Work closely with clients to ensure performance of tax planning and special projects
• Review of completed tax forms, suggest necessary edits to team members prior to filing
• Research and resolve tax and accounting issues as needs arise
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication, exceptional service, and effective collaboration with other financial professionals
• Schedule and conduct Annual Tax Review and Distribution meetings with clients as needed
• Refer existing and potential clients to the Financial Services Team as needed
• Represent and assist clients with IRS, State or other audits as needed
• Ensure policies and procedures are within compliance of professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements
• Other related job duties as required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $80,000 - $110,000 Annual Compensation (Salary + Bonus/Incentives)
  *Based upon Experience, Education, Certifications &/or Licensing*
