Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist I to support our client's medical facility based Circleville OH 43113. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Phlebotomist I

Location: Circleville OH 43113

Duration: 4+ months contract (Possibilities of extension)/Contract to hire

Shift timing: EST Monday - Friday 8:30 am 5 pm; with rotating Saturdays

Pay rate: $ 19/ hr. (Based on years of experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform safe, accurate venipuncture and capillary blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Conduct clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures
• Prepare, label, verify, and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient demographics, initials, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling
• Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort, trust, and confidence
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Perform daily duties accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and confidentiality of patient information

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 1 year in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• 1+ years Customer service in a preferred retail or service environment.
• Keyboard/data entry experience
