About Our Team Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. How You’ll Contribute Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. What We’re Looking For Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: CPR/BLS Certification ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire Iowa Mandatory Reporter – Dependent Adult and Child Preferred Qualifications CCRN ACLS Certification Six (6) months of Medical/Surgical experience Six (6) months to one (1) year of Rehabilitation experience EEOC Statement Eastern Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
