Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Contract

Facility: Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital
Location: Sweetwater, TX
Address: 200 E Arizona Ave, Sweetwater, TX 79556
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $52 – $54/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,872 – $1,944/week (36 hrs/week)

Job Summary

Provide direct nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit, including monitoring labor progression, fetal heart rate assessment, assisting with deliveries, postpartum care, and responding to obstetric emergencies.

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact eligible)

• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience preferred

• Strong experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care

• Ability to work independently on night shifts in acute care setting

Required Credentials

• BLS – Required

• ACLS – Required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required

• Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWHONN preferred)

Setting

• Hospital Labor & Delivery Unit

• Acute Care Maternal/Newborn Services

Floating Requirement

• Floating Required: Yes (as needed)

• May float to postpartum or women’s health units based on hospital needs
