Donor Center Phlebotomist — Paid Training & Impact

Job Overview Assist with every step of the blood collection process at a fixed site, ensuring a welcoming environment for volunteer donors while following all safety procedures. Paid phlebotomy training is provided. Key Responsibilities Connect personally with donors, listening to their stories and explaining the impact of their donation. Collaborate with teammates to maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for volunteer donors. Ensure collection processes meet regulatory requirements and provide safe, transfusable blood. Standard Schedule Variable 10‑hour shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Schedule may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays; schedule is provided two to three weeks in advance. Pay Information Starting rate $21.22 per hour; may increase with experience. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent education and work experience. At least one year of customer service experience in a public setting. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy items, stand or sit for extended periods, and adapt to irregular schedules. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.). Prior leadership experience. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision plans.
