Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ensures patient safety and optimal outcomes through competent clinical practice and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes, ensuring stability throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with catheterization, electrophysiology, and other cardiac interventions.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile fields required for procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information, procedures, and clinical observations accurately.
  
  
• 
  Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid KS or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications in hand.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float to similar units as needed, with a willingness to adapt to facility requirements.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical skills in advanced cardiac care and patient monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
