Compensation Auxiliary Compensation Plan (260 Days) Salary Range: $17.00 - $23.96/hour Shift Type: Full-Time Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Principal Primary Purpose To provide general supervision of the district grounds and facilities. Qualifications Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED Special Knowledge/Skills Ability to record information Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work effectively with students, staff and public. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally) Experience None Major Responsibilities and Duties Monitor safety and security of district properties during non-school hours. Assist law enforcement personnel if needed. Notify police, fire department, or other appropriate authority of any situations requiring immediate attention. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Working Conditions Mental Demands Writing routine reports and correspondence. Interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Maintain emotional control under stress. Physical demands/environmental factors Intermittent walking, sitting and standing. Reaching with hands and arms frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion.
