PointBank has been serving North Texas for more than 140 years, and our commitment to community banking starts with confident, well trained employees. We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist who brings together the heart of an educator and the knowledge of a banker. If you love teaching, designing engaging learning experiences and helping people grow, this role gives you the chance to influence every branch, every department and every new hire who walks through our doors.

What You Will Do
You will be the driving force behind how our employees learn, develop and succeed. Every day you will deliver training across all areas of banking with subject matter expertise in sales, operations, compliance and customer service. You will design structured learning paths, build visually engaging curriculum and create instructor led and eLearning experiences that make complex topics clear, accessible and memorable. You will be a trusted resource for employees, answering questions, identifying learning gaps and helping them grow with confidence.

Your Impact
• Deliver training that strengthens skills across all banking functions
• Stay current on policies, procedures, regulations and technologies to ensure accurate instruction
• Coordinate training schedules that align with hiring timelines and required programs
• Design scaffolded learning paths and engaging curriculum for both eLearning and instructor led sessions
• Support the annual compliance training calendar and recommend improvements
• Serve as the first line of assistance for employees, offering guidance and identifying learning needs
• Build strong relationships with branches and departments to gather feedback and develop relevant course materials
• Recommend improvements to procedures and policies based on training outcomes
• Assist with writing procedures and revising forms for clarity and accuracy
