Wound Care Physician – Houston Methodist The Woodlands (Part-time)Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician with expertise in Wound Care to join our multidisciplinary team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.This is an excellent opportunity to practice within one of the nation's leading health systems, consistently ranked the #1 Hospital System in Texas by U.S. News & World Report for 14 consecutive years.The Wound Care Physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of acute and chronic wounds within a dedicated wound care center, collaborating closely with specialists and primary care colleagues.This is a part-time outpatient opportunity offering a competitive compensation package in The Woodlands — one of the most desirable and rapidly growing communities in the Greater Houston area.Position HighlightsPart-time (3 day weekly)Outpatient practiceEvaluate and manage complex acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and non-healing woundsPerform procedural interventions including sharp debridement, incision and drainage, and minor surgical proceduresUtilize advanced wound therapies including skin substitutes/biologics, negative pressure wound therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (where applicable)Participate in multidisciplinary wound rounds and coordinate care across specialtiesDevelop individualized treatment plans focused on healing outcomes and preventionNo night, weekend or observed holiday work.Eligible for BenefitsQualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineWound Care certification preferred, interest in wound care and hyperbaric medicine welcomeEligible for Texas medical licensureAbout Houston Methodist The Woodlands HospitalHouston Methodist The Woodlands opened on June 26, 2017, as the eighth hospital in the Houston Methodist system.
