Managed Care Billing Coordinator

To support efficient patient care, the full-time remote Managed Care Billing Coordinator will obtain insurance authorizations, manage billing and collections activities, and provide training on managed care billing practices. Key responsibilities Obtain insurance approval prior to patient services and ensure timely billing and reimbursement Review and process managed care contracts and manage billing and collections activities Provide training and support to other departments regarding managed care billing procedures Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred 2-3 years of experience in managed care billing and prior authorization Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance reimbursement practices Familiarity with healthcare billing software and systems is a plus Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment
