Role Description The Insurance Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with the opportunity to work from home part of the time. This role involves meeting with clients to assess their insurance and financial needs, explaining product options, and recommending appropriate solutions that align with long-term goals. The Insurance Specialist will prepare proposals, process applications, and maintain accurate client records while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Daily responsibilities include following up with prospects and clients, responding to inquiries, collaborating with team members and brokerage partners, and participating in ongoing training and development. The role requires a strong focus on customer education, relationship building, and proactive outreach to help clients work toward lifetime financial security. Qualifications Insurance knowledge, including life and related products, with experience in Insurance Brokerage preferred. Foundational understanding of Finance, retirement planning, and risk management concepts. Strong Communication abilities, including clear explanation of complex information and active listening. Customer Service skills focused on building trust, resolving issues, and maintaining long-term relationships. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities in office and remote settings. Relevant state insurance licensing (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe). Sales or client-facing experience in insurance, financial services, or a related field is beneficial.
