Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patient history and performing specific physical assessments to determine individual treatment plans. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, recognizing changes in a patient’s condition that may necessitate modifications to the treatment plan. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Patient Population / Client Focus Our outpatient physical therapy clinics cater to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. The Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in guiding patients through rehabilitation processes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout their treatment journey. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred. Active state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory. Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required. Preferred Experience While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with clinical internships and practical experience in outpatient settings, especially focused on orthopedics, will be given preference.
