- Participate in RRG board reporting, loss development reviews, and reserve analysis discussions as required.
- Monitor overall portfolio performance; identify emerging risk trends and recommend program adjustments to maintain underwriting profitability.
- Recommend and document policy terms, coverage limits, exclusions, endorsements, and premium structures appropriate to each applicant's practice profile and exposure level.

- Demonstrated experience underwriting within a Risk Retention Group (RRG) framework, including familiarity with LRRA regulations, domicile state requirements, and RRG governance structures.
- Track record of managing a book of business independently and making high-quality risk selection decisions within delegated underwriting authority.
- Experience collaborating with actuarial, legal, and claims teams in a program or specialty insurance environment.
- Knowledge of social work, behavioral health, or allied health professions is highly desirable; experience insuring non-profit or association-sponsored programs is a strong plus.
- Advanced analytical and risk assessment capabilities with strong quantitative reasoning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate underwriting rationale to diverse audiences.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational discipline.
- Proficiency with insurance policy administration systems, rating platforms, and CRM tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and complex workloads with autonomy and professional accountability.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a mission-driven, people-first culture.
- Deep commitment to the values of social responsibility, equity, and service to vulnerable populations.
