Senior Commodity Buyer/Commodity Buyer

At Stellantis, our Buyers manage all commercial terms for a specific deck of parts and develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities ensuring that suppliers are capable of meeting Stellantis quality, technology and supply requirements. The core responsibilities of the Buyer (commodity) include but not limited to: Leading commercial negotiations developing commodity strategies and daily execution of transactional activities Daily buyer activities such as requisition placement, executing competitive quotations, supplier negotiations, and resolving purchasing related issues Deliver annual cost savings targets and reach departmental goals Ideal candidates will strive to personally drive improvement to the Purchasing organization's processes. Selected candidates will be invited to join one of the following areas within the Purchasing organization: Chassis and Adaptation Body and Interior Propulsion Systems Electrical Systems and Software Indirect Purchasing Aftermarket Purchasing Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or related discipline 3+ years of purchasing or closely related relevant experience Negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills Experience in working in cross-functional teams Must be able to identify and prioritize critical tasks Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations Ability to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and key internal stakeholders Must be skilled at relationship building, cost analysis, negotiation (both internal and external), benchmarking, time management and presentations to all levels of management #J-18808-Ljbffr Mopar
