Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients undergoing labor, delivery, and post-partum processes.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs while recognizing and responding to emergency situations.
• Administer medications and assist in pain management and anesthesia procedures.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and participate in non-stress tests (NST) and oxytocin challenge tests (OCT).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and smooth operations.
• Educate patients and their families about childbirth, postpartum care, and infant care procedures.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in WA or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery with a focus on high-risk antepartum care.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Ability to perform emergency procedures including neonatal resuscitation and C-section circulations.
• Strong communication and patient education skills, with experience in a teaching hospital environment.
