Mental Health Therapist - Milford or Hingham, MA

Job Description My client, a Massachusetts provider of in-depth care for substance use disorder and mental health concerns, is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to oversee patient care by conducting intake assessments, providing both group and individual services, and managing treatment plans to ensure a cohesive and supportive experience for each patient. What You’ll Do Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and skills training. Ensure smooth orientation for new clients upon admission. Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather history and presenting information. Collaboratively develop and regularly update individualized treatment plans. Utilize patient‑centered therapeutic interventions, including motivational interviewing, to enhance outcomes. Document treatment interventions, contacts, treatment plans, and sessions meticulously. Maintain an active caseload to keep patients engaged in the program. Coordinate comprehensive discharge plans to ensure seamless community reintegration. Who You Are Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, or related field. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, LADC preferred. At least 2 years in a behavioral healthcare setting, serving culturally diverse populations. Compensation

60,000-75,000 DOE
