Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific, active/living or eligible to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with various disabilities and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
• Positive attitude, organizational strengths, and a passion for advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and modify instruction for students with varying needs and abilities
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in partnership with parents and support staff
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ current educational levels and goals
• Foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment
• Liaise with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure effective inclusion practices
• Track and report student progress, celebrating achievements along the way
